We are organising the Spring Fair and need help and ideas as to what to have at the event so here goes...!
IDEAS, SUGGESTIONS & FEEDBACK
Are there any stands you'd like to see again? What stalls would you like to see there?
Food!
What would you like? Soup and a roll? Sausage rolls?
Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers, Cumberland Sausage hotdogs, fresh tomato pasta
pots for the kids?
DO YOU HAVE A BUSINESS?
If
so, would you like to have your own stall at the event? We're keen to
offer stalls to Tadworth family businesses before we look elsewhere.
LET THE KIDS RUN THE STALLS!
We've decided to
open up the running of stalls to ALL children
(supervised by parents except
for
Year 6). Unfortunately there are some stalls which we can't allow the
children to look after for example the BBQ and bottle tombola (as some
bottles will hopefully contain alcohol)!
VOLUNTEERS
We
need heeeeeeelp! We'd be so grateful for any volunteers ranging from
Kitchen Manager/Helpers to looking after the Candy Floss Machine (my
personal favourite...ahem)! If anyone would like to help
then please get in touch!
As a lot of planning goes in to these events
we kindly ask that those who are interested get back to us by 1st February if possible.
There's
a lot to take in but if you've managed to read this far then thanks so
much! If you have any feedback or questions then please feel free to
email us on:
Tadworthpta@gmail.com
Thanks again,

UNWANTED GIFTS
Did you have a nice Christmas? Or was it a case of...
“Ah, you can never have too many of these...” when you actually meant ‘I have too many of these...’
“Lovely! These will come in handy...” when you actually meant ‘I have absolutely no use for these items at all.’
“Ah, just what I wanted...” when you actually meant ‘What is this...exactly!?’
“Awe, look at this” when you actually meant ‘I’m completely lost for words here...’
THEN WE CAN HELP!
The PTA at Tadworth Primary School would be extremely grateful if anyone would like
to donate any unwanted Christmas gifts for us to use for raffles or any cause that
would benefit the school. Can you help?
If it’s a yes, then firstly a huge THANK YOU!
We’ll be collecting gifts at reception during January and these will be collected and
stored for future use.
Thank you to everyone who participates in this cause and we hope you had a fabulous
Christmas and New Year!
From,
Hannah McLean & Katie Harrison (Joint Chairs of the Tadworth Primary School PTA)

PTA Christmas Trees
Following the successful sale of Christmas trees last year, we are teaming up with a local Christmas Tree Wholesaler again this year to offer quality Christmas trees at competitive prices. The trees are Nordmann Firs and there will be 4 different size ranges available (see form below). We will have a sample 6 – 6’6” ft tree at the front of the school from the middle of November.
The trees will be delivered to school on Fri 2nd Dec and be available for you to pick up between 3:40 – 4:40pm as well as Sat 3rd Dec (Time TBC).
The deadline for orders is Wednesday 23rd November and payment must be in advance. Please hand your order form and payment in to Mrs Marshall or post them to PTA Christmas Trees, c/o Tadworth Primary School, Heathcote, Tadworth, Surrey, KT20 5RR.
Cheques are to be made payable to ‘Tadworth Primary PTA’ or if you are a parent at the school you will be able to pay online through the school payments website. Please still fill in a form if you pay online.
Please note, we will receive the trees netted on 2nd December and will allocate your tree(s) per size range ordered without removing the net ready for your collection. Whilst the exact look of each individual tree cannot be guaranteed, you will be supporting the PTA and the school and will receive a quality Christmas tree.
If you have any questions, please contact us at tadworthpta@gmail.com

Bespoke & Beautiful Market Night - An exciting new event coming to Tadworth this half term with funds being raised for the PTA. Come along to meet the faces behind some lovely stalls.
********************
A massive thank you to all who have supported the PTA in any way over the years. The most recent funds raised have been put towards the cost of the canopy which was installed out the back of Year 1 during the summer holidays. The canopy will allow the children access to outdoor learning all year round. As you can see from the picture, the children have already been benefiting from the shelter which, at the start of term, protected them from the sun, and more recently - the rain! There are a number of events already planned for the year ahead and we hope that as many people as possible will be keen to get involved.
